Most people own more jewelry than they wear. Upcycling takes the metal and stones already sitting in a drawer: inherited, outgrown, or simply out of date. It turns them into one piece you reach for daily. The material keeps its history; the form starts over.

Bring everything: tangled chains, single earrings, a ring from a marriage that ended. Nothing is too broken or too small.

We test the karat of every piece, weigh the gold, and unset the stones. You see exactly what you have to work with.

Why upcycle

Nothing new is mined, nothing is thrown away, and the piece you end up wearing carries the same gold your grandmother wore. Upcycling is the most personal work we do: the material arrives with a history, and we write the next chapter of it together.
Rings, brooches, chains, lockets, single earrings, dated clusters: anything gold, with or without stones, can usually be given another life.
Getting started
Write to us with your idea, any inspiration images or sketches, a rough budget, and photos of the pieces you are considering. We reply with a first read on what is possible.
Design collaboration
In the studio or over a call, we sketch at actual size and talk through proportion, setting style and finish until the direction feels obviously right.
Reworked by hand
Your metal is refined or reformed on the bench, stones are reset, and the finished piece is checked with you before it goes home.
Live locally?
Drop it off in person
Book a time and bring your pieces to the studio. We weigh and photograph everything in front of you, and you leave with a written record of what you handed over.
Further away?
Send it insured
We arrange an insured, tracked shipping label for you. Your items are logged on arrival and the same care applies to the return journey once your new piece is finished.
Assessment
What your materials can actually become.
Every piece is karat-tested and weighed, and stones are unset and checked for chips. Some metal is reusable as is, some has to be refined, and some stones are too fragile to reset. You get an honest picture before any design work begins.
Upcycling is labor intensive. You save on stones and much of the metal, but there are fees for dismantling, refining, design and any new materials the piece needs.
